Brunch At "Second Sunday" @ Damansara Jaya

I wished there's a second sunday in a week so there's more time for me and buddy to explore new cafe. Anyway, we went to Second Sunday for brunch and went a bit earlier than usual since lunch time can get pretty pack. 

Managed to secure a nice table for the two of us since we were early. A nice cozy cafe with minimal and clean interior furnishing. Love the deco on the wall, and I find the textural walls pretty nice. 

Have a cup of hot mocha & hot chocolate while waiting.

I have the Sunday Frittata, a hearty egg omelette consisting of sweet pumpkin, mushroom and spinach topped with golden brown cheese served with frieda and salad. For a brief second I thought it was a pie when served. It was quite an interesting combination but filling once finished. 

Buddy have Sunny Side Ups, a double sunny side ups laced with crispy cheddar cheese served on toasted sourdough with avocado slices, smoked salmon, sautéed herb mushroom toped with seaweeds and sesame seeds. 

Can't leave without having dessert after our meal. Tried their Local Pankek, a pandan pancake topped with caramelised bananas and sprinkled with toasted coconut flakes, served with gula melaka syrup. 

We find the pancake overly sweet, most probably that we have over poured the syrup. I personally like the pandan flavoured pancake though. 

Overall, we like the relaxed ambience here at Second Sunday.

Try to go after peak hours when its not overly crowded.
