Birthday Dinner at Village Roast Duck @ Bangsar Village I

Two weeks ago it was my cousin's birthday. My cousin's wife, Nancy arranged to have dinner at Village Roast Duck @ Bangsar Village I.  I was glad that we get to try a new restaurant for a change, instead of our usual place (over & over again). Nancy made the necessary arrangement and booking and when we arrived at 8pm the place was packed! There was a long queue of people outside of the restaurant too.

We have a tough time deciding what to order because all the pictures in the menu looks good. Took us more 15 minutes before we finally made the order....partly due to the place was crowded.

For starter, complimentary soup of the day were served.

The soup of the day was watercress soup...sweet, thick and it taste good too (most restaurant which served complimentary soup are usually diluted or tasteless). It was a nice gesture while we waited for our order to be serve.

Famous for their specialty, we ordered roast duck and barbecued pork. Highly recommended to try this if you come to this Restaurant because it's so so so tender and juicy.

Next came "House Special 'Pei Pa' Bean Curd", which was soft and silky. The kids totally love this, sauce goes well with rice.

Fried vegetable....can't remember the name for this dish....taste was okay (I was too busy savoring other dishes).

Stir Fried Beef with ginger and spring onion. Meat was tender.

Steamed Minced Pork with Salted Fish - Totally love it. It's really tender and goes well with rice. =)

Steamed eggs - any dishes that are eggs are my all time favorite...same goes with uncle too. ^^

After the meal, came the birthday cake. My cousin didn't know that we were actually celebrating his birthday so he was quite surprise.

Happy 42th Birthday Alex!!!!! (My cousin don't look like his age right? Baby face lar). =p

My cousin with his lovely family. A big thanks to Nancy for recommending this place. v(^.^)v

If you are planning to come here for dinner, especially during the weekends, it's wise to make a booking to avoid any disappointment.
