Ante Kitchen and Bar is a fusion restaurant specializing in pork dishes. We didn't plan on dining here since the initial plan was to have brunch at a cafe which was recommended by a friend of ours. However, the cafe was overcrowded and waiting for half an hour to be seated (on a hot day outside) was defiantly out of the question so we headed to Ante Kitchen & Bar instead.
Ante offers indoor and outdoor seats. It's better to dine indoor in comfort than sweating siting outside...especially if it's a super hot sunny day.
We only came to know that the restaurant only opens at 11am so the place was pretty empty & quiet. Love the interior indoor, the interior design looks exclusive and pose.
We were glad that there were brunch selection on their menu as our plan was to have that rather than their main dishes since I've read good reviews on their meat selections.
Started off with our hot drinks - hot chocolate and Cappuccino. Great way to start the day ahead. Taste wise it was okay. Love the cute bear deco on the chocolate drink.
We ordered English Big Breakfast (RM35) each, which consists of baked eggs, bratwurst sausage, bacon, sautéed button mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, baked beans and milk toast. It was a BIG breakfast indeed! Would have prefer sunny side up or scramble eggs. Nevertheless, love the mushroom and the bacon, it was really tasty.
The bill came close to RM100 for the 2 Big breakfast & 2 drinks @.@ I got to say it was the most expensive breakfast/brunch I have ever had with just the 2 of us.
