My Visits to "Doraemon Secret Gadgets EXPO" @ Viva Home (Malaysia)

Spent my Valentine's Day & Chap Goh Meh with my buddy at 100 Doraemon Secret Gadgets EXPO.

Thanks to my friend's GPS, we arrived safely at Viva Home.

Since we were early, we have our lunch at Kazu Sushi

After our hearty meal, it was time we burn off those calories and do some walking.
Finally, we arrived at the destination.
This is what you see once you get off from the escalator.

On the side, you'll find a 'Wishing Rack'.

Terms & Conditions when entering this exhibition.

Bought our ticket at the counter (RM25 for adults / RM15 for Kids).

Time to see 100 Doraemon in action and in we go.

A little History of Doraemon.
Now we all know why Doraemon is Blue and without his ears.
(And I thought it was because of the mouse that cause him to become blue)

Greetings from our Blue/Yellow Doraemon. ^^

Meet all 100 Doraemons with his gadgets.

The grand wedding of Nobita & Shizuka ^^

Have your photo taken at Nobita's room with the help of pro photographer and purchase the photo when you exit.

This is my all time favorite when Nobita went back to the past to see his grandma.

At the gift shop before you exit, you can collect your picture at the counter if you took a picture in nobita room. If not mistaken, one picture cost RM24 per piece. Quite pricey I must say.

Almost all the stationery, accessories, soft toys of Doraemon sold here are quite pricey.
I ended taking pictures of them instead.

We even took the pillow and posed. LOL. I ended up using this as my FB profile.

When you exit to the game area, you can get a 'Doraemon' chop on your hand for re-entry (One Time Only). At the game area, you can play the games in exchange with token (RM2 for 1 token). Most of the games require 1 or 2 tokens.

Doraemon Cafe.

All the goodies look so cute in display.

Ordered Set C for us (RM12.80) with 1 Hot Chocolate drink and Kids Meal Mini Pancake Sundae.
Find the hot chocolate drink terrible as it was too bland, and the pancake was only so so.
Only the ice cream was the best. sad

Limited Edition of Doraemon Stamps. However, it was too pricey to get one, given that the value of the stamp is too low (RM4 value but selling at RM28 per sheet).

Instead, took a picture as remembrance.

More toys, stationery and accessories of Doraemon at the gift shop.

Overall, the Expo is much smaller than expected. However, since Doraemon has been a part of my childhood life (reading comics and watching cartoon), it was defiantly worth visiting and revive of my childhood memories. smile

The Expo is till 23th March 2014. For more info of the Expo, click here for more details.
