Celebrating Mum's Birthday at The Ming Room Restraurant @ Bangsar Shopping Centre

December 1st is my mummy's birthday. As always, this year we celebrated  her birthday at the Ming's Room @ Bangsar with family. :)

Love the Christmas decoration in Bangsar. Their decoration is "Super HUGE' and look so realistic. *Big Lobster...LOL*

On weekends the restaurant is usually packed during dinner time. Fortunately we booked the place 2 days in advance as the place can be packed.

Deco hanged on the wall in the restaurant.

Last year we celebrated mum's birthday here, and we sat on the same table as before. ^^

The restaurant looks empty when we arrived around 7.30pm...but usually after 8pm this place is fully packed!

Since it was mum's birthday, mum ordered the set for 10 pax worth RM888+++ (@.@) #Super expensive# Mum requested to replaced the BBQ Duck with Roasted Chicken (for health reason).

Waited for the rest of the family arrive before the dish were served.
First dish to be served is "The Ming's Room 3 Combination".
I enjoyed this starter because not only they look great in presentation, they are super delicious too! #Super sinful. Don't care...eat first...worry later#

Next is the 'Braised Bird Nest with Lobster Soup'.
Oh la la...super nice and love the texture of this soup.
Totally melts in your mouth.

Roasted chicken, which mum requested to have it replaced the duck dish. #Y NO DUCK MEAT (T.T). Found this dish to be too salty....although the crackers make up for it.

"Baked white tuna with Miso Sauce"
This is by far the best dishes I had. Tuna was well cooked and moist, and it totally melt in your mouth. I have second helpings for this since there were extra. There were only 9 of us and since the course are for 10 pax...guess who ate the extra.....ME! (^0^)

"Steamed Abalone with Prawn Paste & Mushroom"
At the bottom of the abalone it's actually Japanese bean curd. Found the abalone too chewy and my aunt couldn't eat this cause she couldn't chew the abalone at all. #LOL. Love the broccoli cause it was soft and tasty. My dad ate most of the mushroom cause it was his favorite. I on the other hand ate a few cause by then I feel too stuffed to eat. Honestly, all serving was HUGE!

"Aberdeen Sizzling Fried Rice with Roasted Pork & Shrimp Paste"
None of us ate since we were too full (to the max) cause we were saving our tummy for deserts and birthday cake. However, I find this rice to be too salty and dry when I ate this the next day (Took away). I think it may be better to eat it there and then when served?  #Super big pot of fried rice#

For desserts we have the 'Thousand Layered Cake'.
Didn't get the chance to eat this as I was saving my tummy for mum's birthday cake.Mum said that this should be eaten when it's served hot.

Ta-da!!! Mum's birthday chocolate cake.
Looks yummy and sinful. #Dun care again...eat first and worry much later#

A family pic with my lovely parent. :) Hope mummy filled with loads of love and happiness and to celebrate many many many more birthday with her. Love you my dear mummy. :)

After birthday cake, we finished off with "Double-boiled Snow Pear with Osmanthus Jelly & Snow Fungus".

And not forgetting a self pic with my eldest niece.
Sigh, how the days, months and years passed so quickly.
And yes, I had put on weight again....sigh...
how to lose weight when we eat all this delicious food?!?!
