Coffee Break at All Day by Union Roastery @ 3 Damansara Mall

Whenever I go out I need to have a cup of coffee, regardless if I had my coffee at home.

Came to 3 Damansara Mall on a weekday and the cafe was slightly packed after 4pm. I've observed most guests are groups of office workers or people working on their laptops (there are seats with power outlets).

If you're here between 2 to 6pm you can get their all-day Yum Cha set.
Not sure if this applies on weekends though.

You can choose the Pastry or cakes of your choice from the counter.

Click on the picture below for a larger image.
Didn't know that there's an all-day big breakfast here.

After ordering our drinks, I went and took a few pictures of the surroundings. From the pictures you can see that the cafe has a nice ambience and spacious layout for a group gathering.

Whoa la...Vanilla Latte is served.

My companion has a glass of orange juice since she wasn't keen of coffee/tea.

Nice quiet place to hang out for an afternoon tea 😄
Can consider bringing my laptop and have my work done here.

Coffea Coffee (The Curve) @ Mutiara Damansara, Selangor

After a meal I'm always on a hunt for a cup of coffee.
Passed by Coffea Coffee and decided to have our drinks here.

The interior design of the cafe is pretty spacious and cosy, with indoor and outdoor seats.

When we ordered our drinks at the counter, the staff asked what blend we want for our latte.

Turn out we can choose either 'Maestro' or 'Madonna' for our latte. Honestly, as much as I love coffee but I'm not a coffee expert. I usually go for latte/cappuccino and I've never been asked what blend we want 😅

There are cakes, sandwiches and other pastries at the counter, but we didn't order any since we were still full from our meals at Roast & Grill.

After paying for the drinks, we were given a beeper while we waited.

We have the Hazelnut and Caramel Latte (RM14 each).
They served pretty good and decent coffee here.

I enjoyed the coffee at Coffea Coffee because it's less crowded and quieter.
(We were here during the weekdays)

However, we left shortly after finishing our drinks.
We find the cafe a bit too warm during the day we visit.

All Day RM5 Coffee & Tea @ Independent Coffee (IPC Shopping Centre)

I love coffee....but having coffee outside is not cheap.
I usually treat myself a cup whenever I'm outside so today is no exception.

I knew about the all-day RM5 coffee (since I'm BITES member) at Independent Coffee and since I'm at IPC so why not take a trip here to have a cup instead.

To be eligible for this promotion, you have to present your BITES card for scanning (you're required to download the app).

Initially I wanted Mocha but turn out that Mocha & Chocolate drink is not eligible for this promotion. So my friend & I ordered their White Coffee instead.

 Receipt for the order.

They only have a small selection of brownies and cookies while we were there. But if you want bread or pastries, there's one bakery just right next to them.

Took our seat at a corner and the barista served our drinks to our table. It was a public holiday today when we were here so the supermarket at Ben's was pretty crowded.

Their white coffee is not sweet & that's how I like it.
Enjoyed our short break and the coffee here.

Come and enjoy their coffee/tea for only RM5.
Visit their store for more details :)

Pancake & Coffee at Coffee Stain by Joseph @ Solaris Dutamas | Publika

There is nothing better than having a cup of coffee and dessert after a meal.  Buddy & I took a short walk after having our brunch at Pan & Tamper and headed to Coffee Stain.

There's a signboard featuring their Golden Boba pancake outside their cafe. Looks like Boba is in a trend nowadays.

Their breakfast on the menu looks good 😁

The picture looks pretty appetizing, don't they?

We came here for their dessert so it took a while for us to decide because there were so many choices (would like to order 2 but my friend was a bit full after our brunch)

As always, I must have daily dosage of coffee.

 Ordered their Latte Machiatto...

....while my friend has the Brown Sugar Cold Brew LatteI usually prefer hot coffee over cold drinks (not sure why). Tried a sip of her drink and it's so refreshing when drinking on a hot humid day. Regardless I still prefer my smooth and milky flavor of a latte.

The pancake on their menu looks tempting so we ordered a plate of Japanese Souffle Pancake to share, with an additional top-up of mix berries.

I missed the pancake I had in Japan so I tried shaking the pancake to see if it moves 😆

Although I shouldn't' compare to the one I had in Japan, this considered the next best thing 😁

I will be back again for their Big Breakfast as well as trying out their boba drinks in my next visit.

Greet Tea Latte @ UJI CHA, One Utama Shopping Centre

I rarely drink green tea other than the usual green tea we get in a Japanese restaurant. While my friend and I were looking for a place for coffee we happened to passed by Uji ChaWe thought we'll try something different for a change instead of our usual coffee place.

 'Samples' on display.

Ice-cream looks tempting though.

Their menu; which consists only drinks, ice-cream & dessert.

We ordered separately since the place were pack so we took turn to order (seats were limited at the time). We were given a pager while we wait for our drinks.

When the pager vibrate we proceed to collect our drink at the collection counter.
Happened to saw these ice-cream which was ready for pick up. Looks good don't they?

When we went to the counter we were given a tray with 'self mix' cup and tube. Apparently you can adjust the taste of your latte to your own liking of thicknesses and sweetness. Since we weren't sure, we asked the staff to pour it in for us (in short everything was poured into the cup). Look at the thickness & the colour of our green tea latte.

I had tried green tea latte in other cafes but usually I'm not a fan because I always find it too sweet or too blend. However the green tea latte here the texture is thick and not too sweet. So for those who prefer stronger taste of matcha green tea will love it 😃

The verdict? I'm not a fan of green tea latte (nor ice-cream) but I enjoyed the drink though. I guess I'll to my usual latte and vanilla ice-cream for now.
