Sweet Dessert at "Maison de PB" @ Jewel Changi Airport

If you're in Jewel Changi Airport, there are so many eateries here you can't decide what to eat. While I was here I've seen a long queue for Shake Shack. I'm someone who has no patience when it comes to queuing for more than half an hour, I eventually ended up having my lunch somewhere.

However, for desserts, I've been eyeing these beautifully decorate cakes at Maison De PB when I passed by this restaurant. I rarely eat cakes but these beautifully decorate cakes caught my attention and I really wanted to try some of it.

Lo and behold....ended up ordering chocolate mousse cake & strawberry tart.
We ended up eating upstairs due to all seats had been taken on the ground floor.
I would recommend the seating area on the 2nd floor. It's so cozy and less crowded.

I'm a sucker when it comes to beautiful and cute design of cakes. I didn't have any high expectation but one bite of these, my friend and I were like in a 'wow' factor. It tastes so good that I wanted to order more, and there weren't too sweet.

For beverages, we have Vanilla & Mocha Latte.

I love that the design of the cup that protects your hand.

I'm grateful that my friend took a day off to accompany me.
When I'm with her I always feel comfortable and at ease.

So far we've only been here for their dessert and drinks, but I wouldn't mind going back again to have my brunch or dinner here (if I head back to Jewel Changi Airport)

I'll end the post with a video of the restaurant below.

Desserts & Tea @ Typhoon Taiwanese Cafe at Plaza Singapura

My friend & I were heading out for dinner when we happened to pass by Typhoon Taiwanese Cafe in Place Singapura. We browsed through their menu and their dessert selection looks pretty tempting that I suggested to come here for desserts after our dinner.

The place was packed earlier but when we came back after our dinner the crowds had finally left.

We ordered their "Hell Balley chocolate Volcano" and love how unique it is.
I even took a video of the staff melting the chocolates for us (with video below).

The presentation looks amazing (in my opinion). Although I'm not a big fan of chocolate desserts but this came out just fine as it was not overly sweet (which I like).

We finished our dessert with their signature drink - Summer Berries Rhapsody & Tropical Passionfruit to share. So refreshing.

Defiantly coming back again when I'm back to Singapore :)

Bubble Tea at Chinatown Point: Ten Ren Tea vs Tiger Sugar

My friend told me that there was a new bubble tea store called 'Tiger Sugar' and recommended to try their Brown Sugar Milk Tea. The hotel where I was staying was near Chinatown Point at the time (pretty convenient for me to go about in Singapore)

And it turn out Tiger Sugar has one branch at Chinatown Point....talk about luck!
However when I went over in the evening there was a long queue (no kidding)

I'm someone who don't have the patient to queue (especially if its more than half an hour) so I left. I had passed by Ten Ren Tea earlier and thought why not head over there instead.

Waffles & Ice Cream @ Sunday Folks (Singapore)

One thing comes to my mind whenever I'm in Singapore....where to eat ah?!? I'm not really a dessert person but my friend suggested this place which serves good waffles and ice cream. So here I am at Sunday Folks when my friend guide me to the cafe.

Taking a peak inside, the cafe looks pretty cozy.

And it's pretty spacious too.

So many desserts to choose from while browsing their menu.
Their waffles looks pretty good.

Their cakes look pretty tempting and I ended up ordering one of the cake from their counter.

Since we're here we decided to have the waffles with roasted pistachio with ice-cream. We came early before 7pm (it was the weekends) so we didn't have to wait too long (my friend said it can take more than 20 minutes if the place is full)

We also have the Japanese Matcha Chiffon with White Chocolate.

I have to say that their waffles and cakes at Sunday Folks here taste pretty good.
(As well Instagram worthy shot too)

I was told that Holland Village have quite a numerous cafe that are worth visiting (one of them is Sunday Folks)

Worth checking out when I return back to Singapore for my next visit =)

Green Tea Ice-Cream @ Matchaya (Singapore)

I love ice-cream but mostly I stick to Vanilla flavour. While I was in Singapore my friend decided to take me 'Matchaya' to try out their ice-cream.

My friends wanted to have dessert before dinner and I usually have mine after a meal (never before). Whenever we have dinner together we always end up skipping dessert so this round they thought its best to have dessert before our main meal 😅 Anyhow, we met up at Tanjong Pagar station before I was lead up to here.

Honestly I'm not really a fan of matcha ice-cream (I don't mind green tea as drink). So to keep it short, I ended sharing the ice cream with my friends instead (I knew that I wont be able to finish alone).

While my friend went and order their ice-cream, I just went to take some snap shots here and there.

Just a random post of my friend acting crazy in front of the camera while waiting.
Love this gal a lot, hope she wont kill me if she read this post 😛

We didn't wait long before the ice-cream were served. I've no idea what they order but since we're here so I'm certain they'll order matcha flavour.

And yes, I will always need a group shop of these before the we devoured them.

As always my friend Tracy must have her individual shot with the food 😆

I ate few spoons of them (since I wasn't really into them) but my friends seems to enjoy them a lot. Took a picture of their name card so you can check it out if you're a fan of matcha ice-cream.

To end this post, here is my friend posing another pic in front of the shop.
(She loves the ice-cream here so I guess she wants to promote them)

Creamier Handcrated Ice Cream & Coffee (Tiong Bahru)

After dinner at Merci Marcelwhat better way to head off for dessert before calling it a day.
Happened to passed by random cafe while exploring nearby.

Looking at the name of the cafe it looks like its more for desserts and coffee place.
My kinda place for a cup of coffee :)

We have two scoops of ice cream to share among the gals.

Went for their Sea Salt Gula Melaka and Vanilla Flavour.
Pretty good...my kind of ice cream.

Would be nice to have a cup of coffee here.
But since its late I guess I'll leave it another day to try their coffee.

Nice place to chill out after our meal.
Ice-Cream anyone? 😁

Paris Baguette Cafe @ Wisma Atria, Orchard

My first thought when I first came across this cafe, I assumed that the concept is from Europe...given that the name has 'Paris'. Yup...I'm sure quite a number of consumer have the wrong concept that it's from Europe but Paris Baguette is actually a Korean cafe famous with its wide selection of bakery products, desserts and vibrant environment.

Bestie brought me to this cafe a few times when I'm down in Singapore...but each visits was a let down as the place is always a full house! *Seriously! Fortunately this round we managed to get a table. Phew! I thought it will be another disappointment.

Honestly...there are so many pastries and cakes at the display and you're like 'I want to EAT all of them!'.

Bestie recommended to try their pudding. She said this is one pudding which is a "MUST TRY" when you're here. SGD$4.50 per bottle (kinder pricey when convert back to Ringgit).

In the end, the gals and I ordered all different flavour (coincidently) and ended trying all of them. LOL! My personal favourite is the original royal pudding. I love how the whole pudding just melt in my mouth. It was so good! The syrup at the bottom can be really sweet though. Btw, you can take the mini bottle back if you want. Emoji

For cakes, we have Tiramisu & shortcake. Both cakes tastes fabulous...but my favourite is the tiramisu. Each layer of the cake is super creamy. Super Yummy! Emoji

Bestie bought water for all us (free) after the sweet desserts. I like the deco on the paper cup...super cute.

My overall verdict...love the ambience but it can be super crowded. Desserts are great...but pricing is kinder pricey. If you're one who prefer a quiet ambience (such as me) with friends/family, I would not recommend...unless if you come after the peak hours (which I'm not sure when).
