Met up with the gals and head over to 'The Botanic' for dinner.
The restaurant is located in one of Singapore’s busiest malls....Raffles City Shopping Centre.
We went early to avoid the crowds (we went on a Saturday).
Some pictures of the exterior and interior of the restaurant.
Pictures of the menu and the drink list. We pretty much decided what to do order before coming here (after reading some of the reviews about this place).
We loved the 'Grilled Squid' which is served with inked rice. The squid is well-seasoned. I can finish this dish all by myself if the gals and I were not sharing (LOL).
We have the "Harrisa Spiced Spatchcock", which is served with labneh (cream cheese), eggplant, garlic chives and verde. The meat was tender and juicy.
My friend had the 'Whole Roasted Market Fish". Took a small bite to try. For someone who dislike grilled or steam fish, this dish isn't that bad.
The above dish is served with young mango and papaya salad.
After finishing the main meal we decided to order 'Sweet Potato Fries' to share.
Didn't realise how quick we can finish the fries when we start munching away.
Overall the food here (and presentation) were pretty good.
Cheers to a fantastic meal.
I can foresee myself visiting this restaurant again in the future 😋
