Tiger Street Lab @ Jewel Changi Airport

Located on the top floor of Jewel Changi Airport, we had our dinner at Tiger Street Lab.
Not certain why it's called Tiger Street Lab but I believed it's for people who enjoy Tiger beer?

We were pretty tired after spending the whole day at Jewel. We were glad to find a seat and rest our feet...while my friend rest her head on the table 😂

When I decided to dine here it was because they have my favorite soft shell crab on the menu...but later change my mind when I saw there are chicken wings 😆

Feeling refresh after having Lime Juice & Fruit Punch (SGD6 each).

Cheers to us :)

Tried their Moonlight Horfun (SGD10)The fried Horfun with egg is not too bad but to some, it may be a bit sweet. My friend finds the Horfun a bit too sweet for her while for me it was just right for me.

Crispy Fried Chicken Wings (SGD14)

Quite a generous portion of the chicken wings. I personally like it because it's crispy on the outside and the meat is juicy.

A candid picture of my friend before we attack the food.

We were stuffed after finishing both the horfun and chicken wings.

Although the food and drinks were nice, there's high human traffic and really noisy on the top floor so it's not a place to stay long to chat and eat.

SABAR Grilled Set at "Sabar" (Japan Food Town) @ Wisma Atria, Orchard Road

I was in Singapore for work and decided to have my dinner at Sabar. This restaurant was recommended by my friend who is residing in Singapore. The restaurant is quite hidden at the corner of Japan Food Town at Wisma Atria.

Order their Sabar Grilled Set.
For other dishes, you can check out their menu here.

This set is worth ordering. It comprised of 1 saba fish, 2 pieces of salmon belly, and 1 large squid; also includes 2 bowls of rice and 2 cups of tea. The set is enough to feed 3 to 4 people in my opinion (just top-up rice for additional people).

The grilled salmon belly was cooked just right so the fish remained tender and buttery.
I love the grilled squid which was cooked to near perfection, and it's chewy in every bite 😋

The grilled Torosaba fish here was flavorful and the skin was crispy.

I find the prices for this set really reasonable (Nett price which included service charge & GST). Great deal for fresh and authentic Japanese seafood. I will definitely come back when I take a trip to Singapore end of the year 😁

The Botanic Restaurant @ Raffles City (Singapore)

Met up with the gals and head over to 'The Botanic' for dinner.

The restaurant is located in one of Singapore’s busiest malls....Raffles City Shopping Centre.

We went early to avoid the crowds (we went on a Saturday).
Some pictures of the exterior and interior of the restaurant.

Desserts & Tea @ Typhoon Taiwanese Cafe at Plaza Singapura

My friend & I were heading out for dinner when we happened to pass by Typhoon Taiwanese Cafe in Place Singapura. We browsed through their menu and their dessert selection looks pretty tempting that I suggested to come here for desserts after our dinner.

The place was packed earlier but when we came back after our dinner the crowds had finally left.

We ordered their "Hell Balley chocolate Volcano" and love how unique it is.
I even took a video of the staff melting the chocolates for us (with video below).

The presentation looks amazing (in my opinion). Although I'm not a big fan of chocolate desserts but this came out just fine as it was not overly sweet (which I like).

We finished our dessert with their signature drink - Summer Berries Rhapsody & Tropical Passionfruit to share. So refreshing.

Defiantly coming back again when I'm back to Singapore :)

Big Breakfast at Botanist @ Neil Road (Singapore)

Whenever I take a trip down to Singapore I'm always on a look out for a nice cafe. My friend suggested 'Botanist' since it was walking distance from the hotel where I stayed.

Front entrance to Botanist.

Side entrance of the cafe.

The cafe seating area. The outdoor has some relaxing vibes to it although it was rather warm on a sunny day. The sitting area inside the cafe was reserve so if you would like to sit inside its best to book ahead.

Checking out the brunch and mains. So many choices to choose from but you pretty much guess what we'll be having.

Self-service so have to place our order at the counter.

Taking some random picture while waiting for our order.

Here comes the Botanist Breakfast. We decided to share among the three of us since we were planning to head somewhere for more food. I find the serving size for this breakfast is way generous...I mean look at the size of this plate! Its all fill up!

Comparison of my friend's face and the plate.

I think sharing this breakfast with a friend will be better....so you can order one of their dessert if you're ever decided to come here.

To end this post, a pic of my friend outside the cafe. Yup, my friend here loves to pose so most of the pictures we took are quite 'interesting' and 'unique'. LOL. Hopefully she won't kill me if she finds out that I pose her pic here on my blog post (but at least I didn't show her face here).

Late Night Supper at Martin Zwerts Singapore @ Holland Village

My visits to Singapore recently have been nothing but food, food and more food adventure (less shopping this round). So its no surprise my friend decided to bring me all the way to Holland Village for supper.  Thanks to google map we found ourselves at 'Martin Zwerts'.

Honestly my trip to Singapore I don't have to worry finding what to eat because my friend who is a foodie herself, she'll find the most interesting place to bring me (even if its a first timer for her).

I left the ordering to my friends since I wasn't sure what I want from the menu.

Since its our supper they ordered fries and meat ball.

We waited a while before collecting the food from the counter. I have always love meat balls so I was pretty happy when my friend order these. It was pretty good eating on its own.

Personally I have always prefer thick french fries so it was quite a treat for me. Although it was kinda dry and salty but the sauce make up for it :)

And when I thought that was the end of it, my friend decided to order additional chicken drumstick. And boy oh boy, they taste so good when dipped with the sauce. Yup...at the back of my mind I feel pretty guilty eating these but then I thought to myself...eat first....think about it tomorrow. LOL!

I rarely go to Holland Village but I was told there're quite a number of cafes around so if you're ever come here, plan few places to go when you're here. I can foresee myself coming back here again :)
