The Botanic Restaurant @ Raffles City (Singapore)

Met up with the gals and head over to 'The Botanic' for dinner. 

The restaurant is located in one of Singapore’s busiest malls....Raffles City Shopping Centre. 

We went early to avoid the crowds (we went on a Saturday).

Bubble Milk Tea @ Little Po Tea House at Haji Lane

I've been to Singapore several times but I've only been to Haji Lane once which was several years ago. Since I'm in Singapore for few days I thought why not take a trip down to Haji Lane.

Was walking around when I came across "Little Po".  With its giant bubble tea cup and striking colour I couldn't help but went inside the premise to take a look. 

Lately I've been into bubble milk tea and decided to order their Hong Kong Milk Tea. 

Although Little Po offers a wide range of tea but I usually stick to my bubble milk tea which I'm familiar with. 

In no time...my bubble milk tea is ready! 

Such a refreshing treat to combat the heat in Singapore.

Flying Silk Air from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur: Flight MI 340 - A320 Economy Class

When I booked my flight to Singapore (via Singapore Airlines) my flight back to Kuala Lumpur was via Silk Air.  

Three days before my flight I received an email informing me that my flight has been rescheduled to depart at 5.55pm (original time was 4.10pm). I accepted the change and thought I can spend a little more time in Singapore.

On the day that I was due to leave, I received another email informing that the flight has been rescheduled...pushing it to 6.30pm 😐

There wasn't much I can do since I was already at the airport when I read the email. 

Exploring Colourful Street Art & Shops at Haji Lane @ Singapore

I've been wanting to take a trip down to Haji Lane whenever I'm in Singapore. Somehow I never seem to find the time....till now.  My visit here is to explore and check out the store and street art while I'm here. 

Thankfully its a clear sunny day....despite being hot and humid.

On a hot day like this what better way to cool down with a cup of bubble tea from Little Po. 

First Time Flying Via Singapore Airlines | Kuala Lumpur to Singapore: SQ 107 A330-300 Economy Class

Whenever I need to head down to Singapore I often take Malaysia Airline (or Airasia), it never cross my mind to take Singapore Airlines because I thought it will be more expensive.

So the other day while browsing both MAS & SIA website, I found that SIA had a cheaper deal as compared to MAS. In that instance I booked the flight via SIA. For those wondering, I can get it cheaper if I've taken Airasia...providing if I do not have any luggage check in.

La Juiceria Superfoods Signature @ Atria Mall

I've been wanting to try out this place for a while since I've passed by this cafe a couple of times whenever I'm in Atria. Finally set a day with my friend to check out this place one weekend. 

We came on a Sunday so the place was packed. We waited for a while before we were seated. We could have gotten a seat earlier if we've sit outside but with the weather being warm lately we decided to wait it out.

Greet Tea Latte @ UJI CHA, One Utama Shopping Centre

I rarely drink green tea other than the usual green tea we get in a Japanese restaurant. While my friend and I were looking for a place for coffee we happened to passed by Uji Cha. We thought we'll try something different for a change instead of our usual coffee place.

Ice-cream looks tempting though. 

Their menu; which consists only drinks, ice-cream & dessert. 

We ordered separately since the place were pack so we took turn to order (seats were limited at the time). We were given a pager while we wait for our drinks. 

When the pager vibrate we proceed to collect our drink at the collection counter. 

Happened to saw these ice-cream which was ready for pick up. Looks good don't they?

When we went to the counter we were given a tray with 'self mix' cup and tube. Apparently you can adjust the taste of your latte to your own liking of thicknesses and sweetness. Since we weren't sure, we asked the staff to pour it in for us (in short everything was poured into the cup). Look at the thickness & the colour of our green tea latte. 

I had tried green tea latte in other cafes but usually I'm not a fan because I always find it too sweet or too blend. However the green tea latte here the texture is thick and not too sweet. So for those who prefer stronger taste of matcha green tea will love it 😃

The verdict? I'm not a fan of green tea latte (nor ice-cream) but I enjoyed the drink though. I guess I'll to my usual latte and vanilla ice-cream for now. 

Lunch at L.table @ One Utama Shopping Centre

Met up with my friend for lunch at L.table @ One Utama. 

L.table used to operate behind Lavender Bakery. 

Currently their restaurant is located opposite of Robataya.

Came slightly after 1pm on a Sunday afternoon. Fortunately there're seats for 2 pax so we didn't have to wait. The staff gave us the menu and told us to press the button for service once we're ready to order. 

Flipping through their menu, it's always hard to decide what to order when the pictures of the food look so good.

For beverage it's the usual for me :)

Glass Jelly Milk Tea for my friend & Cappuccino for me.

For starter we have the Truffle Mushroom Bisque with garlic bread on the side. 

My friend had the L.Trukey Burger....

...while I had the Vegetable Arrabiata Penne with Grilled Chicken Breast.

Overall their service is excellent and we didn't wait long for our food. Not sure how's the crowd and waiting time like during their peak hours but the food here is quite good.
