Brunch at Frisson Coffee Bar @ Damansara Uptown, PJ

When it comes to looking for a place for breakie/brunch, you'll most likely to find loads of choices while in the vicinity of Damansara Uptown. This round buddy and I decided to head down to Frisson Coffee Bar for brunch. 

Nice and cozy ambience at first glance. 

Love the interior and the black board in the cafe. 

Frisson desserts menu...so tempting! 

Bloggers to pay Income Tax?!?

I was reading a news on Facebook and it looks like bloggers in Singapore were issued with IRAS letter informing them to pay taxes on their social media marketing activities.

This is applicable to ALL Social Media Influencers, such as Bloggers, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and etc.

After reading the articles from Vulcan Post and AsiaOne, I'm like 'what the heck'!

And for those food bloggers who loves snapping food pictures and attending food tasting, or anything that was given to you for review...they are taxable! Yup, you have to self-declare all that because it's considered as 'Profit'....even if you weren't monetarily compensated. In short....they're count as 'income' even though we're not getting paid?!? Seriously?!?!?!

With that being said, if Singapore is issuing letters to bloggers, I guess in no time our government will pick this up and issue letters to bloggers in Malaysia too? I guess we have to wait and see.

My Visits To Hello Kitty Gourmet Cafe @ Sunway Pyramid (Malaysia)

Since the launch of Hello Kitty Cafe in Sunway Pyramid, my friend and I have been planning to check out this cafe for a while now. We went on a weekday since weekends can be overly crowded. 

Some of the promotion they have outside the cafe. 

As soon you stepped into the cafe, you'll find nothing but cute deco and bright colours. 

I seriously love the fireplace and the coffee painting of Hello Kitty on the wall. 

Hello By Kitchen Mafia @ Happy Mansion, Section 17

This is my second visits to Hello By Kitchen Mafia. My first visits the cafe was packed so buddy & I ended up going to a nearby cafe for brunch. Our second visits we drop by at 12.30pm sharp when they're open for business as to avoid the crowds. 

The cafe interior was tastefully decorated, minimalistic and simple.

Going through their menu and deciding what to order. 

I need my daily caffeine intake and tried their coconut latte.

The coconut flavour is mild but great combination and yummy.

Buddy and I ordered Mee Rebus since it's been a while we have them. When the staff served the noodles to us we thought that it looks kinder dry. Turned out the gravy was in a teapot and the staff poured the gravy over it. 

One thing I noticed that the gravy is thick, as compared to the average mee rebus. It's tastefully good though. Give this a try if you drop by at Hello By Kitchen Mafia.

All in all, we enjoyed our meals here. However the place can get overly noisy when it's crowded, and parking space can be limited during peak hours.

Lunch at "Food Lover" @ Happy Mansion, Section 17

Its been a while since my last visits to Food Lover Cafe.

Decided to meet up with buddy for lunch here since it was convenience for us.

Instead of my usual coffee, I tried their Lemongrass & Lemon Tea.

Pretty tasty although it was kinder sweet.

Buddy decided to have pasta....spaghetti bolognese. 

It was watery but taste fine according to buddy. 

I have nasi lemak with curry chicken cause I was craving for something 'sinful'.

 Pretty good and it helps to satisfied my craving. 

However I do wished it was a bit spicier though. 

All in all, the food is decent and still reasonable price.
