Fira City, Santorini @ Greece – My Unforgettable Trip In 2012 (Part 2)

There is nothing better than having a breakfast at the veranda with a view such as this.

Breakfast served with choice of coffee or tea and a glass or orange juice. We have bread, with fresh ham, cheese, home made jam and yogurt. It may be simple but it was not bad. Would have like something hot such as sunny side up eggs and bacaon since the breakfast we had were cold, except for the coffee and tea.

The only other occupant is the feline kitty.

Took the bus to the Fira town after breakfast.

Take a slow stroll and follow the crowds and eventually lead you to a row of shops. You'll find loads of souvenir, accessories, magnets and gifts.

One can't help but noticed that there are loads of donkeys related on display.

Spend our leisure time surveying the surroundings in Fira.

There are so many rooftop, buildings and restaurants tucked into the hillside.

For lunch, went to random bistro for a cup of coffee....a must in my daily life.

Ordered Chicken Salad & Sandwich.

We spend the rest of the afternoon walking and admiring the buildings, scenery and the sea.

Went back to the apartment by bus to rest since mum was tired from all the walking.

After a good rest, we took a cab down to the nearest and closest town for dinner. Mum choose this place since she wanted hot soup for a change since she was craving for something soupy (Most of the restaurant do not serve soup, not sure why).

A great way to end your day with a spectacular view.

I never got tired of the view. ~Bliss~

The view from the restaurant where we sat....one picture was taken before and after the nightfall.

After dinner, we took a stroll around the place.
It was a nice slow walk for us after a meal. And the weather was cooling at night.

We took a cab back instead since we were uncertain where to take a bus. It cost us 5 Euro to return back to our place, which is almost the same price taking a bus back. Of course it is wise to check with them on the cab fare beforehand.

And that was the end of our 'short' 3 days 2 nights in Santorini.
We left the next morning after our breakfast to go to the airport.

We have the best holiday ever in this beautiful island.
Wished we could stayed longer.
Hope to come back in the future for another holiday :)
