On our arrival in London, it was past 4.30pm. Once we claimed our baggage and past through the immigration, we took a cab and go straight to Novotel London Heathrow Airport. We only stayed one night in this hotel. The main reason for choosing this hotel was the fact that it was closer to the airport and EUROPCAR to collect our rented car the next morning....and not forgetting cheaper as compared to other hotels nearby (£136.75). However, taking a cab to the hotel costs £15 although it was only a short distance from the airport. >.<
Attractive atrium style lobby with bar when you walked in.
Check in was a little slow since there were a number of people checking in and there were only 2 staffs attending the customers. When we finally gotten our key to the room, we were all exhausted and decided to stay put in the hotel room to rest. Afterall, there was no where to go since the hotel was located in a quiet area near the Heathrow Airport.
We had virtually no remaining floor space when sofa bed folded out.
The bed was comfortable but not the sofa bed. >.<
The table was full of our stuff as the space is much smaller than we expected.
The toilet is really small and it's separate from the bathroom. We find it kinder strange that the audio from the television is in the bathroom. My dad had to turn the volume louder when Me or my Mum is in the bathroom with the door closed. Pity those who are in the toilet with the loud volume turned on.
We ate at the restaurant for dinner and the food was good and serving size was huge...
although it was a bit pricey to dine in the hotel.
After our hearty meal, we went back to the room and call it for a day. We didn't check any of the facility in the hotel since we were quite content staying in the room.
