Bali Trip Day 5: Bali Cake Lapis, Bali Green Spa, Flapjaks

Day 5 started off with hearty breakfast as always.

We asked Dedy to take us to buy Cake Lapis, which is well known in Bali.

Inside of the shop, you can buy your last minute souvenir or tit bits.
*In my honest opinion, you can give this a miss for cake lapis because I don't find it nice at all*

Went to Bali Green Spa for a well needed pampering. We paid Rp250,000 (approximately RM70 Ringgit) per pax for 1 1/2 hours for spa. We got it on special deal since it was recommended by Dedy. I found out later you can get 50% off if you booked online via this website

From the shop outside, you would have thought it will be a room with dim light. Imagine our surprise when we walked to the back of the shop, we felt like we're in paradise.

We were given a room with an open air concept, with 2 people in one room. It was really relaxing, with cool air, bird chirping and the sound of the water flowing while you rest. My friend fall asleep while having her massage. In short, I've never felt so relaxed and comfortable after a spa. Plus point of their service, they provide transportation back to your hotel.

.
Have a cup of coffee at Starbucks, which is located downstairs in our hotel. Great way to kick back and relax after your spa.

For lunch, we have cup noodles in the hotel room.

Two of my friends who did not join us for spa went to Warung ijo for lunch. They said that this restaurant served authentic Indonesian food at a budget price *Walking distance from our hotel*. Read good reviews about this place.

We have a good rest in the room before the gals and I split up to went our separate way. Three of them went to the beach while 3 of us went and pamper our nails with mani and pedicure. ^^

For dinner, we walked to Flapjaks at Kuta (A very long walk). Paying a cab fare will be costly due to the massive jam in the city. >.<

Flapjaks Menu. So many options to choose from.

The food here is good and pricing range is reasonable. Defiantly worth your visit, especially if you have cravings for something sweet.

And that's the end of our trip in Bali. We left the hotel early next morning to take our flight back to Malaysia. It's advisable to go to airport early as the queue to go into the airport is super long >.< .

And that wraps up my trip in Bali, 6 days and 5 nights.

If you would like to hire a personal tour guide/ driver,  I would highly recommend Dedy when you're in Bali for your holidays.

    2. Sorry for the late reply. Kinda busy this lately (I'm not sure whether I did reply your response or not, I'm a absence minded person actually) I did emailed him, and he did reply few times, but then after that he's kinda black out all of the sudden. I'm really worry whether he's already confirm to tour with us or not. But so far in email, he do sounds a nice person. I just hope he will response us soon to confirm our tour..
