Lunch at Secret Recipe @ Amcorp Mall, PJ

Was at Amcorp mall the other day and decided to have lunch at Secret Recipe. Saw that there was a promotion for lunch (RM16)  and iced lemon tea. You have the choice of curry mee, grilled black pepper chicken or thai seafood spaghetti. As I was starving at the time, I ordered the rice set.

Grilled black pepper chicken with ice lemon tea. Chicken meat was tender, but find the gravy was a bit too thick.  If it's not for the gravy, I think this dish would be a disappointment. As you can see from the picture, the dish looks plain and not appealing at one glance. What do you think?

Lunch at Sushi Zanmai @ 1 Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur

Went for lunch at Sushi Zanmai @ 1 Mont Kiara.

My friend ordered ice green tea which comes with green tea ice cream. The portion were big but my friend happily finished it since he was more thirsty than hungry. =p

Ordered Sashimi salad with sesame dressing.

Highly recommended. Goes well with sesame dressing. Love it!

My friend ordered salmon, she said it's really fresh (although I find the portion quite small).

Unagi Don (small).

 Find the sauce quite sweet for my taste, however it goes well with rice.

 Beef Udon. Ordered a small bowl and realised it's really small.
This portion served well for one person although I find it's not filling for me.
The beef were tender and the soup were sweet though.

Ghoza. Best to eat it when served hot.

 Love the food and the ambience here, will defiantly go back for more. =)

Birthday Dinner at Village Roast Duck @ Bangsar Village I

Two weeks ago it was my cousin's birthday. My cousin's wife, Nancy arranged to have dinner at Village Roast Duck @ Bangsar Village I.  I was glad that we get to try a new restaurant for a change, instead of our usual place (over & over again). Nancy made the necessary arrangement and booking and when we arrived at 8pm the place was packed! There was a long queue of people outside of the restaurant too.
