Recycle Your Empty Bottles at L'OCCITANE Malaysia | BIG Little Things Recycling Programme

Today I went to L'OCCITANE store to exchange all the empty bottles that I have collected in the last few months.

Rather than discarding the empty bottles into the dustbin, 10 empty bottles can be exchanged for 1 L'occitane miniature. 

Only completely clean and dried empties are accepted.

In total, I recycled 40 empty bottles in exchange for 4 miniatures.

These miniature products come in handy for future travel...or have it tested before purchasing an actual size item in their store.

The one I went to is in One Utama Shopping Centre. 

I came here early in the morning to avoid the crowds 😁

 

While I was here I get to meet up with my friend for a quick brunch, and it turns out to be a treat from her. It was worthwhile going out today 😊

Belated Birthday Celebration With The Family (2021)

A belated birthday celebration with my cousin and pa. Due to lockdown, we were not able to celebrate their birthday.....until now (when RMCO was lifted). 

We have dinner at home instead of celebrating outside at the restaurant. My mum still feels uncomfortable eating out so we have cooked dishes and takeaway at home. 

And boy was it a feast for all of us.

Grocery Stock Up & MCO Part 2 😓

Went to the grocery today to stock up some goods. There is a possibility of another movement control order (MCO) so mum suggested that I head out to Village Grocer to get all the necessities we need...just in case.  

I went in the morning and although there were fewer people there were people queuing at the cashier. There will an update later on whether there will be another enforcement of MCO. 

On the way back I decided to stop by at the florist to check out some of the plants they have. Took these 3 pictures which I really like. May consider getting a few plants to brighten up my room. 

An interesting bouquet. Perhaps a great gift for those who love beer 😂.

And later part of the day....the update that everyone dread hearing it. Yup, another MCO...starting this Wednesday, from the 13th until the 26th Jan (OMG). Looks like it will another 14 days being cooped up at home 😭.

Short Trip To Mid Valley Megamall & Christmas Decoration :)

Took a short trip to Midvalley with my mum and helper. Most of the time I've been cooped up at home and it's been ages since I went out.  Since the lockdown back in March...I think I've only been to the mall less than 6 times (seriously). 

Came on a weekday morning, and it was less crowded on the road when we took a 'grab' over. 

We were only here for an hour so off I went to take as many photos as I can while walking around. 

I always look forward to this time of the year when all the Christmas decorations are out. 

Didn't have the time to walk over to 'The Gardens Mall' but these photos were good enough for me. 

Wished I could stay longer but with the current situation, it was best to head back home after my mum had finished with her errands. This is the only time I get to experience some Christmas feel. Hopefully next year it will be better.
