Dinner At "Shan Yuan Chinese Cuisine (膳苑)" @ Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya

Thanks to my cousin suggestion, we get to dine at a new restaurant on one of our gatherings. My cousin and his family had dined at Shan Yuan a couple of times since they moved nearby and they highly recommend this place for dinner instead of our usual dine out restaurant we visit often.

Nice ambient chinese restaurant.

All the dishes were ordered and recommend by my cousin so I guess I will leave the pictures and brief explanation for each dish. The first dish to be served is a pot of braised pork, which turn out a no-no for me. Other than my dad who seemed to enjoy this dish, we find the smell and taste a bit overwhelming for our liking.

Second dish to be served is a stir-fried veg. Average but healthy choice.

Deep fried chicken and ginger. This dish is perhaps our favourite. All of us gave this dish a thumb up. I've never tasted anything as tasty as this. Yum!!!

Steam fish with soy sauce. It was okay for me.

Braised eggplant with minced pork. Another dish I like other than the fried chicken. Aromatic and flavourful, exceptionally good when eat with steamed rice. Eating on its own can be a bit salty.

Lastly, steamed egg with mince pork.

Pictures of the food before we attack all the dishes (minus the steamed egg).

All dishes were pretty good, except for the braised pork. Highly recommended to try out the fried chicken with ginger if you're ever drop by at this restaurant for dinner.
