Restoran Sweet Inn Seafood & Noodle @ Damansara Kim

A while back celebrated my mum's birthday at Restoran Sweet Inn. We came one week earlier before my mum's birthday but we didn't make any reservation so we ended up leaving as the place was packed.

When we came back again a week later the place was already pack or the table was already reserved. It was only 7pm at the time and on a weekends.  We made a booking earlier so the table was reserve for us when we arrived.

We were served small plates of snacks on our table while waiting for our food.

The snacks can be quite yummy and addictive.

First dish to be served is the Four Lucky Combination
Generous portion for 10 pax. Great starter to build up an appetite.

Steamed Fish Shark Patin. This dish was surprisingly good! The fish was fresh and the sauce goes great with rice. Everyone enjoyed this dish a lot, including myself.

Tea Smoked Village Chicken
Nothing extraordinary, but it was tasty.

Hong Kong Kailan. We ordered another veggie dish which is the Sweet Potato Leaves but didn't take any picture of it since it's your typical average veggie dish.

The long awaited and highlight of the dish is the Sang Har Mee. The noodles and prawns were freshly cooked and it was super sweet and tasty! I can see why most table order this dish.

Finally, birthday cake for dessert.
Thanks to my cousin and her wife for the lovely birthday cake.

My dear mummy with her birthday cake.

All in all, the food is quite good and good food do not come cheap. The dinner came up to be RM780! The most expensive dish is the Sang Har Mee and Steam Fish. All of us were surprised when the bill arrive. I personally find the noodle and the fish a bit too pricey. I guess I'll won't be going back anytime now unless it's only on special occasion.

Travel Blog: 2 Nights Stay at Hotel Innotel @ Singapore

Quite a while back I stayed at Innotel Hotel for 2 nights.
It was a short stay and wanted to stay near the MRT station.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.

Hotel can easily be located once you step out from the MRT station.
Just look up the building with park mall and you'll find the hotel.

The hotel only have 8 floors and we stayed on the 5th floor.

Once you walked into the room, you'll find the washbasin right at the hallway rather in the bathroom. Closet is small but sufficient, with safe box , laundry bag and slippers at the bottom.

Bathroom is small but bright and sufficient space to bath. The small bathroom mirror which is usually in the bathroom is in the room on the side wall.

Although the room is small but you won't feel claustrophobia.
We were able to put our 2 suitcase in the room.

The bed was comfortable and on each side of the bed we have our own light stand for reading.

There's a tea and coffee maker facilities and a small fridge with drinks and snacks (not complimentary).

The view outside from our room is not much other than buildings and mall.

Although the room seems compact but I find the room we stayed is clean and seems newly renovated. Staff are courteous and helpful. Location is conveniently located close to MRT station and shopping mall but still quiet to have a good night sleep at night. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is a cafe as part of the building.

All in all, I can recommend this hotel for business traveler. If you are on holiday as a couple, the hotel will do fine, provided you do not expect to spend a lot of time in your room.

Brunch at Fuwa Fuwa Bakery Cafe @ The School, Jaya One

Buddy and I have been adventurous and have been exploring new cafe for a good cup of coffee and a good brunch. Went to Fuwa Fuwa Bakery Cafe for brunch on one of our get together during the weekends.

We weren't sure what the crowds like during the weekends (it was on a Saturday) and found the place to be quiet when we arrive around 11.30am. I guess generally the mall is not crowded due to limited shops.

I personally like the atmosphere of this cafe as it's wide and spacious. The glass wall, tiny plants and natural lights from the glass window/wall brightens up the whole cafe.

On the other side of the cafe there have pastries and buns at display.

At Fuwa Fuwa, it's self service where you place your order and made payment at the counter.

Ordered a cup of Caramel Latte (RM10) for myself and Skipper Blackcurrant juice (RM8) for buddy.

Tuna Temptation (RM12).
Tuna mix on baked croissant served with a side salad.
A healthy brunch for buddy.

Creamy Mushroom Soup (RM9). Surprise how creamy and tasty it is.
We were told that they made it fresh daily and from scratch. Defiantly worth trying.

Ballistic Brunch (RM13). A duo of sunny side ups served with sausage, chicken ham and baked beans. It's a big portion but found the taste a bit too bland.

Overall Fuwa Fuwa it's a great place to hang out with your friends. They offers simple and basic brunch menu with reasonable price.  I personally prefer cafe that is less crowded and the cafe is quite cozy and quiet. You can pretty much spend a quiet time on your own with a good novel and a cup of coffee.

Getting My First Google Adsense Payment & Cashing Out Via Western Union

After more than a year since I joined Google AdSense, I finally received my first payment back in October 2014.

It's not a lot but I'm pretty excited about it given that it took me a while to understand how Google AdSense work. Nevertheless, getting my first payment from Google Adsense it's like getting a reward for my hardwork and it finally pays off. :)

Honestly I didn't know how Google Adsense work when I first started out. I was literally getting few cents here and there. If I'm lucky I'll get a dollar plus in 1 month. But then again, back then I do not write a lot and only written like 2 to 3 blogs a month. However, when I started writing more and then started including some of my videos from Youtube, I found that my earning has slowly increase from day to day. And after more than a year, I finally gotten my first payment receipt from Google.

How Do You Cash Out Your Money via Western Union?

For those who is wondering how do you cash out from Google AdSense, Google will sent out an email saying that payment was sent out for your Google AdSense earnings.

You have to log on to your Google Adsense account, visit the Payment History page to refer to the transactions history (as per picture below). I only crop the picture which is needed as to give you an idea what to look out for.  If you see the 'Automatic payment status issued, click the link on it......

...and a new tab will appear with your payment receipt. At the bottom of the picture, it will guide you what to bring and what to fill up on the 'Western Union' Form.

The Western Union form can be collected from your local post office or selected banks. I did mine at a local post office. It was pretty easy. All you need is a photocopy of your I/C, fill out the Western Union form below with the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) issued by Google, and you can cash out the money almost immediately.

I wouldn't advice on getting payment via cheque from Google Adsense as I have read it's a very long waiting process.

If you think it's easy making money online from Google Adsense, I have to say it is NOT. However I blog because I like to share the photos I took...places I have been and food that I've tried. In addition, your blog have to be interesting enough to attract readers to visit your blog.

Hopefully this post will inspired other bloggers to earn money from blogging. Any reader using Google Adsense and what do you think about them? Hope you can share your experience with me.

Boat Noodle @ The School At Jaya One

I was hanging out with my friend at Jaya One and we stumble upon Boat Noodle (by chance). We have heard about this restaurant for some time and we were eager to try out their noodle...although I was still full from our late brunch earlier....like 2 hours ago.

The restaurant was already packed when we went in around 4pm but we got a small table almost immediately since there were only 2 of us. The interior looks like a traditional Thai's shop and one would feel like that they're in Thailand.

Fill in the order chit and pass to one of the staff to place your order.

Boat Noodle's One Page Menu.
*Note: They do not serve dry noodle here*

The back of the menu explained the difference sauce used for the noodle.

My friend was pleasantly surprise how small the portion was when served. Each bowl had about 2 tablespoon of rice noodles, 1 meatball, small bits of meat, bean sprouts and gravy of your choice. The beaf noodle has more flavourful taste compared to the pork noodle.

We ordered their Thai Pandan Dessert; Ka-nam Tuay (RM1 for 2). The pandan desserts were served in saucers and has two layers; a coconut top and a pandan base.

Chicken and Beaf Meat Balls. Simply delicious.

Most of the customer who comes to Boat Noodle can be seen stacking their bowls. My friend & I were there to savour and experience the taste so we only stacked up 4 bowls (LOL).

Overall the service was good and the staff who seated us was attentive and friendly. We personally like the meat balls than the noodles. We find the portion of the noodle is quite small...even though it's only RM1.90 per bowl.
