My Stay at Hotel Clover 7 @ Hong Kong Street, Singapore

Sharing my review on my recent stay at Hotel Clover 7, a boutique hotel in Singapore.

I took the airport shuttle from Changi Airport. I highly recommend taking this shuttle if you want to enjoy a comfortable airport transfer to your hotel accommodation. The airport shuttle dropped me in front of the hotel after a 50 minutes bus ride. Depending on where your hotel is, the driver usually drops other passengers while on the way.

When I arrived at the hotel it was still early to check-in.
I left my luggage at the hotel before leaving to explore.

There's actually a lift to come up instead of the stairs.
I was not aware when I climb up the staircase the first time.

When I came back to check into the room, there wasn't any staff around. Fortunately, there was a phone on the concierge & I called to inform the staff from the hotel next door (Hotel Clover)Waited a few minutes before the manager in charge came over and apologized for the wait.

Japan Park Singapore (JPSG) 2018 @ Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre

Came to attend the JPSG 2018 in Suntec Convention. There were special tickets available at the event but my friend & I took the 1-day ticket which cost $16 per pax.

It's my first visit to such an event. I wasn't sure what to expect but it looks interesting from the flyer. I guess you wouldn't know what to expect until you check it out yourself.

I found the expo a bit smaller than I had anticipated. I ended up only taking a few pictures here because there wasn't much to see 😅

They are a few stalls selling some cosmetics from Japan, but most of them we selling card games or toys related stuff while we were here.

I presume there will be a performance but didn't stay long to check out. There were food stalls but didn't take any pictures because the crowds were gathered around there.

My friend & I enjoyed the most in this expo was the game section.
We won a few of the Daruma dolls while playing one of the game (LOL).

Here is my friend having her photo taken with her prize-winning 😂

We only stayed for a short while before leaving with 5 Daruma Dolls with us.
Here are all the Daruma that we won.

Although the expo wasn't what we had in mind it was still interesting though. If we had stayed a bit longer for the shows it's possible there're more things to see.

Second Cup Coffee Company @ IPC Shopping Center

After a good brunch and shopping, what better way to enjoy the rest of the day over a cup of coffee.

We needed a drink so that we can relax our feet after our long walk at Ikea.

And so here we are....at a coffee shop called Second Cup (interesting name)

Can't go wrong with free Wifi 😏

After payment, we were given buzzer so that we can collect our drinks once it's ready.

The interior of the cafe looks clean and bright. Noted there're limited seats in the cafe but we came on a weekday so the crowds are lesser.

Looking at the pastry & cakes at the counter, we were tempted to order a slice of the cake but decided not to given that we'll be having dinner soon.

My friend ordered their Frozen Yogurt Parfait when she saw the banner at their entrance. For me I prefer something that is familiar to me...which is non-other than latte.

My friend finds the yogurt parfait quite filling after she finished 3/4 of it. I tried some but I didn't quite like it. Find the taste a bit blend and sourish?

It's nice to chill out and take a break after a long day of walking. I wouldn't mind coming back here again by myself and just chill out with a cup of coffee and a good book.
