Hello Kitty Goodies from McDonald's Singapore

I happened to be in Singapore when my friend texted me and informed me about the Hello Kitty carrier at Mcdonalds.

I'm not a person to wake up early to queue, but I was staying near at one of the mall nearby and thought I would go and check it out if it's still available.

When I was there, there wasn't any queue. I think I was there after 9.30am

Fortunately for me, the Hello Kitty Carrier was still available.
Got the ticket from the staff to redeem πŸ˜

November 2019: Second and Third Day In Singapore

Day 2 in Singapore started early for me when I woke up at 6 in the morning. I always have trouble sleeping in a new environment for the first 2 days...and the soundproof of the room didn't help either as I can practically hear the door slam shut when my next-door neighbor closed the door. I couldn't go back to sleep so I got up and took a bath before heading out to get my breakfast from Chinatown Point Mall. Talk about convenient.

There are several options to have my breakfast...

...but I always end up getting a hot sandwich set from BreadTalk (only available on weekdays till 10am).

Take away and have my breakfast in the room.

It's simple but it's filling and delicious πŸ˜‹

Once I'm done I head out to Bugis Junction. While I was there, there were LINE friends and Brown statue themed at the mall....which I assumed it's for the Christmas decoration. I didn't take a lot of pictures since I was here for other matters which was related to my work.

November 2019: Travel day to Singapore πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬

Now with the latest app on my phone I can easily post my blog here. I'm taking a trip down to Singapore for work and a reunion with my friends. Wanted to jot down whatever I can so I can look back what I did in my last trip...a journal in a way.

As always, my parent drop me at KL Sentral. I usually take the express train to KLIA. If you purchase the return ticket from the kiosk machine with credit card, it only cost RM90 for both ways.

Because I'm flying with Malaysia Airline, I can drop off my luggage here before boarding the train. The best thing about having your baggage drop here is that you don't have to worry about queuing at the airport or carrying your large suitcase with you. Most time when I dropped off the baggage there's only a handful of people here. When I was here I was the only one at the counter 😁

Got my boarding pass and went to board the train to KLIA. The journey to the airport is approximately 40 minutes.

It was still early to board the plane so I ended up having a sandwich and latte at Starbucks.

Soon it was time to board the plane. It was a short 45 to 50 minutes flight.

Drink and snacks were provided.

Arrived at Changi Airport Terminal 2. I was glad to leave the plane as I wasn't feeling well πŸ˜”

Took this photo while on the way to the immigration. Found this really cute.

Once collected the luggage I head straight to Cheers to collect my sim card. I usually purchase my sim card from Klook site. It's easy to redeem, just make sure you know which terminal you're arriving so you'll know where to collect it.

I also purchased the shuttle bus transfer to my hotel from Klook site. I can reach my hotel by MRT but wanted to travel in comfort because I was carrying a large suitcase with me (and I was not feeling too good

It was an hour journey before I arrived at my hotel since other passengers were dropped off before me πŸ˜…

Second time staying at Bliss Hotel. Will write another post of this hotel later. Super convenient and easy to travel about in Singapore. And best of all its in Chinatown....where there's ton of eatery nearby.

I ended up having my dinner at Chinatown Point, which is just across the hotel. Met up with my friend for a short while we had dinner together. Call it a night and finger cross I'll feel better by tomorrow.

Eight @ Mansion | Happy Mansion, Section 17

My cousin often goes to Happy Mansion for dinner with my aunt. Last week while she was there she came across a newly opened restaurant. She went to check out the menu and suggested we come here for dinner at Eight@Mansion.

It was a last-minute decision and the place was full when we arrived. Best to make a reservation if you decide to come here. Fortunately for us, we were able to get a table.

We wanted to try the pork ribs but it was sold out πŸ˜”
We were a bit disappointed but ordered other dishes to try.
(my handwriting is horrible so I blur it out 😁)

Help yourself to the water (self-service).

Mushroom soup (RM17). When it came we were a bit surprised....because the bowl was huge while the portion of the soup was quite small πŸ˜… Despite the small portion, the soup was pretty good.

Bacon & Peanut Pork Burger (RM22)

Teriyaki Pork Burger (RM20)

Pretty good homemade miso infused pork patty.

Carbonara (RM28) - creamy and rich πŸ˜‹

Grilled Salmon Fillet (RM38) Salmon was cooked perfectly and goes great with the salad.
A healthy option for those who are watching their calories 😁

It would be ideal to make a reservation beforehand, as well for the pork ribs. Currently they're only accepting cash payment but they're in the process of getting the payment terminal. Overall the food is delicious and the service is good. Should come back to try their pork ribs.
