Star Wars The Last Jedi Roadshow @ Midvalley Megamall

It was my friend's day off and we took this chance to meet up in Midvalley. 

It was then we came across Star Wars roadshow. 

We were here on a weekday and it was only slightly after 11am where we happened to passed by the centre court. 

Although neither one of us are fans of Star Wars but we took this chance to explore around....and there weren't any crowd yet at the time. 

Cute Mini Pop Vinyl figures on display....

and actual life size figure! 

Loads of Star Wars merchandise available....although found them to be pricey. 😅

Free Scoop Night At Baskin Robins

I didn't know there was a free scoop night on the day until my cousin informed us about it while having dinner together on our usual Saturday night out.

We were having our dinner in Atria Shopping Mall at the time. 

Turn out it was free scoop night from Baskin Robins.

Talking about good timing.  

A long line of people is to be expected. 

To be honest I usually don't line up if there's a long queue regardless what it is. It just happened that my niece was with me and my family were doing groceries shopping so it was a good excuse to share some bonding moment with my niece at the time.  

We queued up for 15 minutes before getting our queue number.

As always I only choose my favourite Vanilla flavour. 

I know its boring but I love it. 

Defiantly a sweet treat that day :)

Hotel Review: Akihabara Washington Hotel

While deciding where to stay in Tokyo there're many option. This trip I wanted to stay somewhere I can have access to anime goods, capsule machines and electronic goods. That's when I decided to stay at Akihabara Washington Hotel.

I was glad that I stayed in this hotel because its close to public transportation and there're plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. You can check out the hotel's location here.

You'll need an access card to your floor during your stay.

Fong Lyn Taiwan Restaurant @ Desa Sri-Hartmas, Kuala Lumpur

Celebrated my belated birthday this year with the family at Fong Lyn Restaurant. I prefer to keep my birthday a 'low profile' so that I can skip the celebration but my family insist to celebrate it anyway. 

We came in slightly after 7pm. My cousin had booked a table for us so we didn't have to wait for the table when we arrived. Once seated, one staff came over with numerous small bowl of snacks. There were quite a few to choose from so I choose 2 which look appetising (its delicious). 

I have no idea what we're having since mum ordered most of the dishes....but I get to include two of my favourite dish on the order. 

We didn't wait long before our food arrived. 

First dish to be served....my favourite tofu dish. 

Followed by steamed chicken. 

Another favourite of mine....Fu Yong Omelette Egg. 

Can't go wrong with this dish.

An overall of the dishes we have on the table. Didn't note down the name of the dishes since we pretty much attack the food as soon as the food arrived. 

After our meal we have birthday cake for dessert. Big thanks to my cousin who ordered this. It was pretty special since it was my favourite cake...Tiramisu! 

Have a good laugh since I was singing the birthday songs and trying to conceal that it was my birthday. 

I was kinda shy about it and my family were singing the birthday song as loud as they can. 

At the end I enjoyed the dinner and have the BEST cake ever!

Overall the food here is excellent...and we didn't wait long for the food to be served despite being a full house that night. We hardly come to this area due to the fact that the area around here can get pretty congested. My only complaint is that parking can be quite difficult.
