Mcdonalds Hello Kitty in Singapore....Kawaiiii

When McDonald's in Hong Kong launched these Hello Kitty Plush toy back in 2011...I really really really wanted one of these....however.....no one I know was going to Hong Kong....and buying them online (i.e Ebay) was ridiculous expensive as buyers were selling them at least USD$20 over (each)....not to forget there will be postage cost incur...which you need to consider (=.=).

Move forward to May 2012, McDonald's in Singapore was actually having these promotion....happiness to the max.  I only came to know about this when I went to Mcd's one morning for breakfast with my buddy....that's when I came across this (Good timing).

Each McDonald's Hello Kitty plush toy was available at $3.60 each with every purchase of an Extra Value Meal and customers are entitled to purchase one toy. Customer can purchase these plush toys separately at $9 each. So far I have only gotten the first two set: Hamburglar & Grimace.  Aren't they adorable??!?!?!?!

When I returned to Malaysia, a dear friend of mine manage to get the Ronald Hello Kitty for me. Thank you Nandan =)

However....I'm missing the 'Birdie" Hello Kitty....my friend told me that this plush was popular and it ran out of stock within a day or two (T.T).

However, I learned that the plush toy was actually imported from Malaysia when I was checking out the back of the plastic. I wonder will there be any chance that Malaysia will launch these plush toy here??? I guess only time we will know. Keeping my finger cross.

Restoran Kong Sai @ Taman Paramount, Petaling Jaya

The other day, my parent took us to a new place for dinner at Taman Paramount. They came across this restaurant a while back and decided try it out since it was crowded. After all, it can't go wrong if the restaurant is crowded right?

The environment here is quite presentable and clean. Check out their menu hanging on the wall.

Wanted to order the soap from this menu but it costs RM30 and above per bowl...kinder pricey I must say.

Instead, we ordered normal bowl of soups, which were good.
Lotus Peanut soup & Old Cucumber soup. Love it!

Our food was served within 5 minutes after our soups were served. Talk about speedy service. Check out all the delicious food being served to us.

All dishes, including rice and drinks came out to RM70++. Value for money I must say. The food was good and the pricing is reasonable. Defiantly worth visit with family and friends to dine for a big and satisfied meals. (^.^)

Investment in Gold?

Since young I've never like gold, I've always find that gold is more for the elderly. As long as I can remember, any item I purchased from jewelry shop I'll always come out from the shop with purchases relating to white gold. The only thing I ever purchased relating to gold will be chocolate wrapped in a gold wrapping paper. =p

Fast forward to 2012, I finally realised the worthy of gold. Since early this year, gold price had appreciated enormously. And early this week when I accompanied my mother to the jewellery shop, I learnt from the seller that one of their regular customer who purchased gold bar from them actually earned RM300,000 within 6 months!!!! (Seriously, it will take me more than 10 years to earn that kind of money)

Anyway, I was checking out these gold bar in PYT Jeweller at SS2. Look at these, gold bar from different sizes. ranging from 10 grams, 20 grams, 100 grams, and holy moly....500 grams! All 999.9% Gold! Mum & I was drooling over the 500 grams gold bar.

Unfortunately, I just don't have the money to buy all these luxury item at the moment. (>.<)~~~~ For now, I'll just admire them by looking at these photos that I took.

Thanks to my Mr. J & Mr. X from PYT Jeweller for sharing all the information, advice and their jokes that had entertained my mum and I during out visits at their shop. =)

Brunch at 'The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf' @ Novena Square [Singapore]

I was going back home to Kuala Lumpur after staying four nights stay at my bestie's place in Singapore. I usually take the coach back (First Coach) back home cause it was a cheaper alternative, as compared to flying or taking aeroline coach.

And only last month, I found out that the  Coffee Bean outlet at Novena Square offers 20% discount if you show them your bus ticket (on the same day of your departure). And not only that, you'll also get further discount for drinks if you order their meal, to make it as a meal set. So overall, we only paid $20 for all these!!!

Vanilla Latte (Regular) & Mocha Ice Blended.

Two breakfast meals - it was huge!!!!

Looks appetising right?

The breakfast meal is large. Look at the size! It took me a while to finish it.
If you're a small eater,  my advice is to share it.

After the meal, it was time to head back home (5 hours journey).
Here is a pic of my dear friends who send me off. Going to miss you all. =(
Bye bye Singapore....I'll be back soon.
