Tea Breaks At Nooks by Baker Dave @ Plaza Damas 3, Sri-Hartamas

An overdue post when two of my good friends came back for a short break. We planned to go somewhere for a drink but the plan shifted to a nearby cafe after our lunch. 

Nooks Cafe located at the corner shop next to Kaffeine Cafe. 

The cafe is bright and furnished with colourful furnishing. 

When it comes to beverage, the 3 of us have different opinion when it comes to drink. I will have my usual cup of latte while my friend have an orange juice and tea (a healthy choice). Possible because they were still full after our lunch earlier. 

I Am 80's Cafe @ SS4, Petaling Jaya

My friend and I are always on a look out for cafe to try and when we came across I Am 80's online we went and check it out one weekend. The cafe is located near the residential area and is quite secluded from the public. Thanks to google map we were able to locate this cafe without getting lost ourselves.  

The cafe turn out to be quite charming with modern and old styles decoration. Found most of the deco here quite colourful and cute.

Day Out With Bestie

I am pretty excited when bestie came back from Singapore and will be staying put in KL for a few months. And best of all she will be giving birth anytime soon.  As her bestie, I look forward to her baby's arrival. 

Accompanied bestie to the clinic for her weekly check-up and she seemed worried cause her baby was getting too big. Fortunately, the baby is healthy and bestie was advised to watch her diet. She showed me the ultrasound image but I've no idea what I'm looking at (lol). Thankfully her baby is healthy and that's what important. 

After her check-up we head over to Antipodean for brunch. 

Bestie was glad to get out of the house and we enjoyed catching up with gossip and stories. We came out on a weekday so the shopping mall was pretty quiet.

We went shopping for baby stuff and although it was fun looking through the baby products, I must admit they can get pretty pricey. Some of the items are more expensive than grown-up stuff 😅 After shopping for a nursing pillow and 3 piece set, it was time to send my friend back because she was feeling tired. 

To my bestie Alicia, please take care of yourself and I look forward to your baby arrival soon. :)

Brunch At 'Thirdwave' @ Nexus Bangsar South

After our last visit to Thirdwave, my friend and I revisit the cafe for brunch. 

It was convenient and parking was easier for us. 

Not surprising that the cafe was in full swing when we arrived but we managed to find a seat. As always, I have my cup of hot Latte (RM12), my daily dose of caffeine to start up my day. 

My friend on the other hand prefer Camomile Tea (RM10) over coffee.

Interesting and unique tea cup that comes with it. 

Gathering At "IKU Japanese Fusion Sushi" @ Damansara Uptown

When planning a gathering with few of my secondary school mates, our good friend Vivian often decide the venue for us. Thanks to Vivian, we have our gathering at Iku Japanese Fushion Sushi at Damansara Uptown. 

My friend bought cash vouchers from Groupon and thanks to the promotion we have a big feast here **Note that cash vouchers are only applicable to a la carte sushi. 

I arrived much later due to heavy traffic on my way to the restaurant, no thanks to the jam on a Friday evening. >.< When I arrived my friends had already ordered most of the sushi so I didn't note down most of the name. However most of these dishes were recommended by the chef himself. 

Afternoon Tea at 'Tea Verandah' @ Atria Shopping Gallery

I'm not a fan of tea and usually prefer coffee over tea anytime of the day. However when buddy and I came across a two-tier Tea set at Tea Verandah, we thought we would try something new for a change instead of our usual coffee stop. 

Tea Verandah turned out to be a quaint little cafe that serves a wide variety of tea.

Big Breakfast at Antipodean Cafe @ Atria Shopping Gallery

I've heard of Antipodean Cafe in Bangsar but getting a seat and parking on a weekends can be a challenge. So when another branch opened up at Atria Shopping Gallery, I have my side kick accompanied me for brunch on one of the weekends. 

It was my first visit to Antipodean so I was surprise to find their menu scribbled on the chalk board that spans across a wall. It didn't take long for us to decide what we wanted since we often order the same thing. However, since we went on a weekend the place was packed and we waited for half an hour before we were given a table.

Coffee Time at 'Kaffeine' @ Plaza Damas 3, Sri Hartamas

When bestie came back to KL for a short visit we dropped by at Kaffeine for a drink.

The cafe was pretty quiet when we went over after lunch (we came on a weekday). 

Flavourest Cafe - A Cute Bear Themed Cafe in Kelana Jaya

I'm always on a look out for a cute themed cafe. So when I found a bear themed cafe I've to go and check it out. However, finding this place can be tricky since it was quite hidden. It took a while for my friend and me to locate Flavourest Cafe and when we finally found it, it was all worth it. ^^

The place was in full swing when we dropped by on a Saturday afternoon. 

Once you stepped into the cafe you'll find all the cute deco and adorable bear plushy.
